We are very glad you are here, and we are looking forward to seeing what you have to say. We want everybody to have a great time with us, and on our little blog, and learn lots from each other, so we have come up with a pretty short list of rules to help guide us.

This is a community effort in community space. We have all kinds of people here – all ages and backgrounds. Please keep that in mind and be good neighbors.
Nothing Personal:
We don’t post personal information (unless somebody specifically asks us to find a lost pet or something like that). Please do not post personal information. Don’t post your own, and most certainly DO NOT post anybody else’s. The website is viewable by the whole world, and we have no control over who visits the site or forwards emails.
Be smart. Be safe. Be courteous.
Keep it Civil:
Disagreements are normal and will arise. Please - express your disagreement with respect for your neighbors, and present your position by sharing facts, data and documentation, so that we can all better understand how we each have come to the conclusions we have. Gossip, name-calling, bullying, cussing and any other behavior that would cause your grandmother to stand you in the corner will bring comparable sanction from the Moderators.
What the Moderator Says – Goes:
We are all volunteers here, and we depend on the generous donation of time and effort of very dedicated neighbors to keep this thing running. Our moderators have been chosen based on their proven fairness, understanding of our neighbors and of the behavior those neighbors expect. If one of our moderators decides to edit your post, or in a most rare case – to delete it, that will be that.
If we are not the right blog for you…
We will be sad to see you go. BUT! There are other options! You can set up a blog all your own, tailored to your content, style and community. We use WordPress (that is not an endorsement – merely disclosure) , which offers free blog accounts, and other free and for-fee blog services are available to suit all sorts of needs. We wish you the best!
One more note:
Until we get a feel for this blogging thing, the first comment that you submit will be reviewed by a moderator before it is posted. As long as you don’t give the moderator a reason to be concerned that you might not agree with the rules above, all your following comments will be posted automatically for all the world to see just as fast as our servers can toss those electrons.
